The familiar, reimagined.
The next life of an ancient form.

There are forms we recognise before we can name them. The curve of a vessel, the rhythm of a colonnade, the outline of a face. Familiarity allows a small change to become striking.
In the sculptural image from our archive, a pink ribbon changes the first impression. The colour draws the eye towards a familiar form and invites us to look again.
Amphora / 01 began with the same idea. We kept a recognisable outline and interrupted it with a strip of dusty rose. The intervention moves the eye from the overall silhouette to the space between its parts.
Then comes use. The drawing is printed on fabric, folds, moves on a shoulder and appears in different settings. The object carries a reference and finds its place on a present-day journey.
